Returns & Refund Policy

 At Ink N Ivory (Business Division and Brand of Inception Ventures LLP), we strive to provide our customers with the best online shopping experience. We understand that sometimes, you may need to return or exchange a product.

This Returns and Refund Policy outlines the process and conditions for returning or refunding your purchase.

Definition: ‘Return’ is defined as the action of giving back the item purchased by the Buyer/Customer to the Seller on the Ink N Ivory website.

Following situations may arise: -

  • Item was defective.
  • Item was damaged during the Shipping.
  • Product(s) was/were missing.
  • Wrong item(s) was/were sent by the Seller.

We encourage the buyer/customer to review the listing before making the purchase decision. 

Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 48 hours from receipt of your delivery. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it. 

To initiate a return, please send a request email to our customer support team at hello@inknivory.in with the following details. 

1. Provide your order number

2. Reason for the return.

3. Four pictures of your product from all angles

Note: 

Above required details are mandatory for return. Without these details your request cannot be processed.

We would request our buyers/customers to avoid sending us any used item for return as it will be considered as invalid, and the customer will have to bear the to and fro courier cost.

Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to ensure that it meets the return criteria. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Amount will be refunded only after the product is verified by the team at Ink N Ivory.

If the refund is approved, we will provide your refund within 10 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that shipping fees and any applicable taxes or duties are non-refundable.

Can you return part of the order?

Yes, a return can be created at item level and if you have ordered multiple items, you can initiate a return for a partial quantity.

Can you cancel the order?

Yes, you can cancel the order only before dispatch of the product. If the product is dispatched, then the order cannot be cancelled.  

Refunds

If you are eligible for a refund, you will receive the full purchase price of the item, excluding any shipping fees and taxes. The refund will be credited to your original payment method within 10 business days after the return is approved.

If you haven't received your refund within the specified timeframe, please contact our customer support team for assistance. 

Exchanges

No, we do not provide exchange. If you wish to get another product, you can order the product from our website and raise a return request for the product you have received. 

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our customer support team at hello@inknivory.in within 24 hours of receiving the product

Please provide the following details when sending the email. 

1. Provide your order number,

2. Details of the damage, and

3. Four clear photos of the damage area of the product

4. One video of the damaged product.

Our team will assess the situation and provide you with further instructions. We will get back to you within 5 working days.

If the item is confirmed to be damaged or defective, we will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund, depending on your preference.

Refunds will be made via Bank Transfer/Refund to Card or Wallet used for making payment.

Refunds will be initiated within 10 working days.  It will be made only to the account of the person who has made the payment and not to a third-party account.
